Mr. Abhinav Anand President, Trikuta Nagar (Sector-7) Traders Association called upon ADGP Mr. Mukesh Singh (IPS)  today to apprise him about the problems faced by the traders.
Mr. Anand exchanged pleasantries with ADGP Mr. Mukesh Singh and had threadbare discussion with him. He brought in the notice of the ADGP the general grievances of the traders including crime rate prevalent in Jammu. He submitted that frequent cases of theft in the commercial areas had only added to the woes of the trading community.

Mr. Anand further submitted that J&K Police has been on its toes but installation of CCTV cameras and regular patrolling in Trikuta Nagar and adjacent areas would definitely put a curb on the midnight crimes.Mr. Anand further said that ever since Mr. Mukesh Singh had taken over ADGP the crime rate in the UT had come down drastically. The ADGP gave a patient hearing to the President Mr. Anand and assured him full co-operation in addressing the problems faced by the traders. The top cop further asserted that young entrepreneurs should come forward and cooperate with the police to control crime as their social responsibility. He said police and public together can defeat the nefarious designs of anti social elements to maintain law and order in the UT. Mr. Anand praised the ADGP for his previous work done in the past postings and thanked him for extending his support for the cause of the traders.
